I'm just as surprised to see today's developments but a little context about reverse stock splits.
Yes they do have a negative cognitation, but there is a reason for that. Most reverse splits are undertaken by companies that are desperate and already had fortunes that were sinking, not improving. When this happens a reverse stock split is like pilling on, it only adds to the misery.
I don't see POET in a situation where fortunes are sinking, but quite the opposite, circumstances are in the ascendency. Let's be honest there are a lot of good things that have been validated and many more good things to come. Don't we all believe that, or why else would we be here.
Keep your eye on the ball, which is MARKET CAP. Share price is derived from the market cap, and if we are still worth 1,2, 5, 10 billion, the ascribed SP will take care of itself.
