True, looking at it that way I agree that the shares are there regardless of when they are exercised. As you stated, the only way out of issued warrants is to have them expire under water, which does no one any good.

I guess a better way of saying it is that when warrants are issued, you are diluted. What happens after that is just a matter of timing.
