I agree with all of that, but will add this;

There is always risk, whether it be from within (failure at 100nm), or from without (another unknown comes up with something better).

If we get to 100nm then that risk will be gone, and it would appear from a technical standpoint nothing would prevent POET from powering the next generation of consumer electronic goods, amongst many other products.

I suppose other technical risks will exist in quantum computing, down the road, but that can be dealt with at that time.

By that time you'll be so filthy rich you won't care.
