Have a question for you. A friend bought the $2 and $5 Jan15 call spread about 6 months ago with the goal being a $3.00 profit less cost which at the time was $.85. Today that spread is worth $1.60. Do you think he should hold on to the spread until the entire $3.00 is realized or should he roll out into different call spread or some other play.

He also owns the Oct13 - $4 calls which I would he is considering rolling also.
