Understanding the underlying facts of the 31,269,350 shares negates any positive from their observation. Sure Al bought them, but what they fail to point out is that these were all newly issued shares and this amounted to nothing more than Al preserving his percentage ownership in the company. Now if he'd do that again today on the open market, then they'd have something to talk about. One could argue that he traded debt for equity, but we paid the price in dilution of our own stock positions (those that were still holding them at the time).
