Indeed. Five years ago: ABX at 41 dollars. Currently under 35 dollars.

GG at 32 dollars, currently 41.16.

NEM was 49.69. Currently it's at 47.

Yeah, sure, there were dividends. And all these SP's exceeded Kimber. But as you say, the entire mining thesis was the worst possible way to play the best possible sector.
