Roads versus RR, or both

There are some discussions on the above topic on the NOT board. Relevant info can be found in the link below (courtesy of Luker). It has some good maps showing the RR, and the road network connecting various FN communities, including the link going through De Beers mine, Attawapiskat, Fort Albany, and Moosonee.

If the Chinese can finance the RR and the NS service road, our governments can presumably take care of other roads to the FN communities in the network? $1B (Prov) + $1B (Fed) should be plenty.
