The question to trade or to hold really depends on the individual investor. Yes we have been range bound for a while and trading the 30 cent differential can be quite profitable. The economy seems to be improving, but if bad news were to come out, GTE like all of the other stocks could fall more. Personally I am a holder and look more long term. With the cost of oil creeping up - the more profitable the company becomes. This should be reflected in the share price. However, there is always the risk of being invested in South America which does keep the value depressed relative to its peers. In short - it really depends on your long term outlook, risk tolerance, and investment style. IMHO of course.
