WOW! Gold has risen from $1607 last night to $1632 to test Friday's $1632.50 all time high.

Silver is back to $40... up from this morning's $38.99.

The DOW is off over 300 points from early highs, and the USD has moved up with gold.

Some are my stocks are moving big and realism has hit Wall Street on yet another tricky Monday turn.

If gold gets past $1633 today, dont get too excited because silver is some $1.50 below last week's high. This warns that gold is a tricky debt ceiling play.

Some more senate votes are at hand and while the talking heads speak of a debt ceiling "deal", the markets are becoming increasingly troubled or even doubtful....hmmm...me smells whiplash for a few more days.

Still, August will see a new breakout in G&S and very likely PM shares as well. We cant give up on ECU Silver. The value is still there...the bottom line....pic
