You nailed it, Mike, and G&S have been hit with 2 solid waves today.

BUT the the speed at which they float back up is really interesting...and DIFFERENT.

Gold peaked at $1628.50 this morning and has been as far down as $1608.50...a net $20 haircut thus far. Still, buyers seem to be waiting at every short term whack, and I believe that $1590 to 1610 could well hold.

Silver reached $41.44 earlier and has been whacked by $1.28 to as low as $40.16, but it also floats back north rather quickly, and I expect $40-41 to hold....and weekly lows coming between today and early Friday.

And YES! There is a monster wild card out there with the debt ceiling dance.....pic
