I wonder, Cockerel, why you wish the citizens of Canada a happy birthday, but you want on that occasion to exclude part of the population because of your political conviction. Socialists are first of all democrats, so they should not be a threat to you. You can talk to them, they will respect your opinion and you may even convince them or you may be convinced by them. My experience here in Europe is, that social-democrats are people that are extremely constructive and positive members of society. I am sure that is the same in Canada.
