The Middle East blowing up normally equates to higher oil prices and gold generally joins oil, both being commodities. Also the ME is major support for gold as currency - all those Muslims following the word of the prophet etc.

I'm not sure where he's coming from other than looking for a means of shaking out another 2%+, Maunds last charts were very bullish and also recent COT reports -has anything altered?
