Folks, what I see is fresh signs of the media factions turning on each other...same with regulatory agencies. If you have been in bed with lucretive "look the other way" agendas, and suddenly light is shone uncomfortably close to you, your survival reaction might be to attempt to cast the light elsewhere......rats turning on rats. But in the end all the rats have diminished well being.
Glen Beck's show last Thursday was made up of successful and appreciative immigrants from around the works who made a good life here through education and diligence, yet never forget the suppression where they came from. They are quick to observe that native Americans have no early life suppression to draw on...and thus are unappreciative, ignorant, and have no sense of the priviledged life they have had in what has been overall the most free country in the world in the 1900s.
Americans [paper bugs] simply are not emotionally or financially equipped to handle what is ahead if strong intervention does not save the day....very likely hyperinflationary depression, much higher taxes, fewer liberties, and civil unrest made worse with Marshall Law. The immigrants on Beck's show lamented this evolution and end to the "land of opportunity". It was evident in their words and their faces. Absolute corruption corrupts absolutely....and that is where much of our government resides.
I have this "keeper" article from 1/11/10 called "Elliott Wave In Review" written by Baltin , one of few who can correctly "read" wave and price fractals into the future [Alf Field is another]. Perhap you can dig it out of the www.gold-eagle.com archives and read it. The very last sentence says the real secret to financial survival is "TO KEEP ONE'S HEAD AND WALLET WHILE OTHERS AROUND YOU ARE LOSING THEIRS."
Our gold, silver, and PM shares are only going to build relative wealth as we neutralize the wrath of currency depreciation, while others are left with furnace and toilet paper adorned with fancy printed large numbers. Pray for the fool who has jumbo CDs and bonds, heavy cash hidden around the house, or overblown saving accts. Their wealth level will fall below us as we on average will maintain stores of value. Wealth is always relative in the end and we will be better able to deal with price explosion, but dealing with the price of lost liberty is another thing indeed...and I would quickly swap relative wealth for the latter......pic
