WOW! ...nice gold bounce up $16 approaching $US spot 1100and silver $.27, but Obama will speak before 11:00 EDT, but heads up for market prep.

DOW now up nearly 100, crude oil up a buck, and HUI looking strong. This is a great opportunity with gold and silver and $US time and price merging late last week, but the $US has not fallen off enough to indicate anything meaningful. It did go up to 79.55 overnight before falling to 79.20 this morning.

Bottom line: This is a turn up [minor or major?], and not an accelleration of last week's trend which was a big concern. The last half of this week will determine what today means. We must see today's rally get a foothold beyond Tuesday/Wednesday......pic
