I'm a bit...just a bit...:), ignorant when it comes to how gold in the ground is valued, in terms of profit. I have seen the figure of $60 per oz. here.

Surely that is not what is left over from $1700 per oz., after all is accounted for? In one of the best jurisdiction in the world? With infrastructure in place, very close by? With a gravity recovery rate of 84%? Could someone enlighten me about this subject please?
