Is there significance to Jake Creek results? Why, yes, there is.

A good rule of thumb given by a knowledgable junior stock man on another site says take grams times length of intercept and if you don't get a number over 100, it's not good. By that standard, these results are not good.

The significance of that is many seemed to be holding out for Jake Creek to produce great assays to halt the decline of EVG's share price. Well, that didn't happen, so that's significant.

We have to continue to wait for Carlin deep holes, and possibly more mediocre results from there, which are unlikely to do anything positive for the share price.

Or we can wait for the upcoming drill season at Rattlesnake Hills, where the holes will be months and months and months away from being announced, giving EVG shareholders months and months and months of a news drought, which could be expected to produce more share-price decline based on the past year's action.

That, unfortunately, is the significance of the Jake Creek results for those of us who own EVG. But I've decided it's time to start selling out.
