Owning or not owning makes absolutely no difference for being on a stock forum imo. In fact short sellers should be welcome as they may have some very good reason or insight for being on that side of it to counteract the stuck like glue mentality of attached holders

A very altruistic view if genuine. There are many forms and boards that I am not active on and all of them are because I am not a sharholder. You are correct that not owning a stock doesn't preclude a person from following and posting on a board but it certainly should raise the question WHY?

You make the leap to short sellers which is different from not being a shareholder when a stock no longer trades. At our current point in time if you are not a shareholder you really have nothing relevant to say.
