Hugo Chavez said he would not recognize international arbitration, and intended to keep what were essentially expropriated properties.

That Gold Reserve won their case is no guarantee that they will be paid. If they are, or if they are inviged to negotiate a deal with the country, that will certainly be a very good sign for Crystallex.

If, however, Venezuela refuses to pay, winning in arbitration means nothing to Gold Reserve or Crystallex, though the news may present trading opportunities.
