Venalum workers are still awaiting a response to claims for payment of labor liabilities. Sutrapuval president, Manuel Diaz said he had a meeting with the president of the company, Rada Gamluch, where they delivered a proposal and end the work stoppage.
Diaz said that the president did not accept the proposals of the union leadership to begin discussions of the collective agreement, reinstate discounted day workers, adjust the payment tab and Sunday as a holiday.
He stressed that in view of the refusal of the company, workers continue to protest the measures undertaken over the last 7 days.
