Even though I tend to agree that a buyout is not what is going on, however, Chavez could have simply said no to Crystallex being involved.

If he did, then all the work leading up to this point may have been wasted time but CREC has all the info needed to make an offer including a current cost report.

I would imagine CREC would not mind going it alone.
