The Direction of Integral Defense of the Atmosphere of the Public Ministry, in charge of doctor Rosalba Milillo, in company of other civil servants whom they have to do with the environmental conservation, was made present in the place to object analyze the situation to make decisions in situ.

Ecological groups have noticed the serious damages that the illegal mining in the Caura Stop is causing, state Bolivar, with the participation of but of 2 thousand originating gold prospectors of Brazil, Colombia and Guyana, that in their action are turning the region into a desert zone.

“Our fight is not new in the Caura Stop, because the same comes implementing from 2009 with operative Blue Gold and Crab of Embalse that has concentrated in the capture of the ringleaders of the illegal mining which they explode to the workers. In addition, once the equipment of illegal mining is destroyed, continuous visits to the site are realised to avoid their reinstallation”, emphasized Milillo.
