Hi Traps,

Just tried to transfer 20 000 shares into my TFSA from my investing account at that 12.5 cents closing price you suggested....and Royal Bank Direct Investing said they now have different policies where you can't go by after market prices. In other words I have to wait until tomorrow and call in when the markets are open....If I place the transfer this evening, I have to transfer in at whatever the opening price is....Bit of a gamble if the price pops first thing in the morning. If you call just before 4pm they can give you the best bid price of the day.....

Apparently those rules changed for RBC Direct Investing. Can you verify if they changed with other brokerages?
