I think you missed my point. It costs Teck more in deferred profits to starve us out than it saves them in a buyout deal. Hundreds of millions in profits for every 12 months they defer a production decision. There will be no "starving us out" because it would cost Teck hundreds of millions and only for a hope that it weakens Ernesto asking price. Starving us out makes no sense because it only hurts Teck in the end. Teck must act quickly and decide on their production decision (and possible buyout attempt) because delayed future profits beckon.
