cpac, I think YN was highlighting the fact that there are a lot of bargains out there for majors to take over on the cheap. Why pay EE's 'top dollar' asking price for SC, when you can prey on weak and distressed exploration companies at fire-sale prices. It's somewhat of a valid point, that is, if they can find good apples to apples comparisons in terms of mine size, economics, safety and ultimate mine life.
