Their reinterpretation of this though, I think is very positive. Instead of the oil being pressured into the drilled area it is oil that was contained within the drilled material. That means that for a given distance of drilling in the volume removed there was 54 barrels equivalent of oil.

If this is averaged out over the size of the shales, then we could have a substantial find. Maybe their news release is intended to show a greater confidence of having whatthey expect, rather then the way it seems to be presently being interpreted.

The only thing that may be negative about it is that they were probably drilling more horizontally then depth wise and therefore it may appear that the drillled hole is longer then expected.
