It is reasonable to speculate on what that comment means so I will add to it. A major can't be seriously interested unless there is a resource of economic value, enough perceived value to cause a buyout or JV for development and such information is known but being withheld from the public. Known information of that scale being given to others (first) would not only violate disclosure laws but would certainly violate the character of the Amador team. The daily volume certainly doesn't reflect any special interest in the stock. Most of the big volume days over the last two months were down days in price. Confidentiality agreements happen often, few result in anything. More important as a leading indicator is who participates and how large a financing is, over what has occurred in the last few financings. When management, brokers (who normally buy for clients like other miners who don't want to show their hand) and funds start showing up for financings for amounts much larger than in the past, then I believe it is reasonable to get extra hopeful, maybe even worth increasing one's position.
