AGM

So, did anyone go to the AGM on Friday?

I really want to make it out, but just couldn't fit it in.

Comments? Thoughts? Did someone give TO a punch in the gut?

Re: News

I too thought that would have been game over for Alda. It still very well could be if they don't get the financing that they are looking for. I am not sure how much money they are going to make selling vitamins.

Re: News Pending

You are absolutely right. Expecting good news is a long shot. Alda and TO's long string of failures continues. I am sad to say that the company most likely will never emerge from this, especially under the leadership of TO. I certainly cannot say anything charitable about him or his abilities.

Re: Holy Crap Batman

Nice to see someone still on this forum.

They released their financials and md&a on the 28th, and predictably it was not pretty. I suppose the reason the price went up was because perhaps was a sign to some investors that the lights are still on (although I bet they're flickering).

It seems that with the departure of ex-CFO Peter Chen, that he took the licensing and rights to sell T36 with him. Although Alda still retains the intellectual rights and patents to T36, Peter took the licensing to his company, Proterra, in lieu of his back-payment of his exhorbitant management salary. I would seriously like to to know what his contributions were to forwarding Alda aside from hiring kids from Douglas college.

It looks like TO is trying to re-invent Alda. Looks like Peter got the good deal though. Leaving with all the work and our money to bring T36 to market, and sticking us with the $875k that's owing to the Olympic Committee.

what's the hold up?

Has the BCSC and IROC finally caught up to Terry and Peter? Why else are we still not trading after the financial statement conditions have been met. I wonder what else the regulators discovered in their investigation of the company.

Re: Financials filed

Absolutely agree! I think there is several reasons why we haven't hear anything. Firstly, there is just nothing good to report. Secondly, if management ever reared their heads to shareholders they would be lynched, tarred and feathered. The managers and directors really have lost any credibility with shareholders and unless they can turn the company's fortunes around it will be game over for Terry or Peter running as directors or management of a tsxv co. This kind of stink doesn't wash out easily.
