Agree with "How much". If they have one or two lines going, Q4 might not be too bad. It is not a complete shutdown of the plant.
Agree with your assessment of short work.
If LOIs and MOUs are legally bound to announce, add a disclaimer that they may or may not lead to future firm contracts, i.e. no guarantee.
Agree with the concerted effort comment. We are four days away from the US election so it makes it easier for this kind of effort.
I am still patiently waiting for Q4 results. If sp tanks, it does not do any good to the company as there is a real possibility to raise cash. Somehow, Q4 might be ok as they need the sp as high as possible to raise cash. There are too many external and internal factors going on now.
Information from the company is opaque. Communication is still an issue. Part of the high beta I suppose is because of this. When there is a short work issue, company should let us know what is going on. Especially Hogey sent an inquiry to the CEO. Also, please only announce the firm purchase offer, do not issue any news release on LOI and/or MOU. It means little and also hurts the credibility of the company. If possible, name the buyers.
Well, if people buy low and sell high, that's great. If people sell high and buy low, that's great too. If people buy high and sell low, then it's a problem. The market is always right. To name a few, an unverified news on short work at EFL's German plant, Mercedes building its own plant nearby, Trump's presidency and the NAFTA, and the pending share offering. Is it oversold? I would think so. But I never buy more on the day of a falling knife. I will hold my shares as I have not seen any significant material change between today and last week. Again, this is a high beta stock. It goes up fast and it comes down just as fast.
Possible JIT manufacturing that Mercedes needs certain components from the EFL's plant. The plot thickens.
Thanks for the article. It is come from Con Edison so it is much better than coming from the mouth of EFL. No wonder why the CEO highlighted the Con Edison partnership in the Bloomberg interview. It is in advance stage of the development.
