Before 2004 accounts such as RRSP's did not count as an affiliated person, since 2004 RRSP's are considered an affiliated person, so non-registered or registered accounts are moot, all accounts are considered affiliated.
FYI an "affiliated person" includes trusts which includes RRSP's, TFSA's and RRIF's.
Unfortunately you received poor advice, as the rules are for any affiliated person or account within 30 days. You have created a superficial loss.
How many days were between buying/selling your shares when you created your capital loss supervisorswife?
JW instead of requesting people to do some work on projections why don't you just do it yourself.
If you don't have the knowledge to do such projections then educate yourself and learn how to do it.
