It seems I have been following the ROF for far too long, my paranoid side is getting the better of me...
In all likelihood this is a very far fetched scenario, but could it be that this bid is being used to pump Freewest to a higher price for a PP?? If this bid is rejected, which it seems Mac is pushing for, then the "value" for FWR is far higher than it was, with no change as to whats in the ground
I'm hoping someone can tell me thats an impossible scenario, but without knowing a whole lot about how these things work, i can't help myself from wondering....
Is that really a surprise to you? Both Milsy and Glorieaux have been amongst the most valuable posters to this forum. I would be willing to bet that without their contribution (and of course a select few others) no one, including myself, would take the time to follow this board.
They have both been "voted" and "rated" by the community to be in the position they are, we should just be thankful they allow all of us to share in their conversation
Respectfully,
Goose
If possible can anyone shed some light onto the significance of August 27th, the date the PP will close.
Is this likely to have an impact on the share price?
According to the corporate update provided Jeremy Niemi's position was effective as of August 6th.
I find it hard to believe the drill results which were so highly anticipated were only ready for release the same day as his position became effective.
Now I have heard (and please correct me if i'm wrong) Noront has 40 days to report any options which have been issued, which means he likely had his options right after the stock opened down almost 40 cents last thursday
I do not have much bad to say about our current board, the SP is at a respectable level and poised to go much higher....but this "coincidence" only adds to the case that there is some serious issues with regards to disclosure
Only question left is why are they waiting with 50 + 51 results?
Then again, I'll bet if you ask Dundee or Wellington they would have a much better idea for an answer then anyone here....
It seems the longer we wait, the more speculation helps boost the sp. The only thing that will stop this rise would be disappointing news, and in my opinion that is highly unlikely. If you are a believer in NOT, patience is your best friend right now
