I'm still to be convinced that Astrology has anyhing to do with financial markets, but Larry Pasevento (Tom O'Brien show) has been on about a "combust" starting this week. I barely understand the term except that it means a certain line up of some of the planets nor why its Bearish/cycle turn but any thoughts on it?

cheers, I'd like to have seen one of his charts to see exactly what he was looking at. I fully agree by the time this is over I can see indexes dropping 80% or so from here. BoB Hoye and Tim Wood both appear to have pencelled in 2011 as a low.

to be honest calling for the indexes to fall to 0 comes across as hype to sell some newsletters. The S&P might have a trip to 500 lined up for sometime this year, but 0 no way, think what would happen , the index would lose the 0 stocks and they would be replaced with gold companies, the S&P would become the HUI light.

It might not have anything to do with TDC , Gold lost the $930/$925 and the HUI is down more then 5% . I went short the base metal stocks a few weeks back as a hedge against TDC drifting lower. It makes you wonder though who is bothering to sell at these prices that either didnt sell at a profit in March? Given that TDC went nowhere since then you'd think people would sell their biggest gainers into this.
