Elm on the helm

Somehow I start to wonder if Elmer knows or knew where he was heading for:

- Why he did not drill the inferred part of the pitshell? He - a genious he is according to many- knew (or should have known) all along drilling of the inferred would have an enormous positive impact on the economics of the BFS;

- Why does everything takes so long? Is this because he has a masterplan that will bring more money on the table?

- Does he have a masterplan or is EE the puppet master who pulls the strings?

- Why would Teck back in / buy us out before a definite EA? For a relatively small amount of money (say 4x relevant expenditures) they have a guarantee that this project can proceed. Moreover combined with infill drilling and increased measured resources hey have a better story to tell to their shareholders.

- Are we drifting or on course to our final destination? Does our captain know where we are heading for?

I have been a shareholder since december 2010. This started as an investment but has become speculation. Despite all the positives of this projects and the pounds in the ground I am lost when it comes to understand the tactics and/or approach of this project by cuu management. I just have more and more diffuculties believing every action or ommission by management has had a purpose which fits in a grander scheme. Could it be that our project is just one size too large for our captain?

When is the EA procedure finished?

Why I ask this is because I think it guarantees for 100% that this project can proceed. Without this guarantee nobody is going to pay billions.... Of course it is possible to incorporate a suspensive condition with regards to the EA in the (take over / buy out) contract.

Tunnel vision

Tunnel vision, as a metaphor, may also denote the reluctance to consider alternatives to one's preferred line of thought; this could include physicians treating afflictions, detectives considering crime suspects, or anyone predisposed to a favoured outcome. I fear some (just very few) of us have a tunnel vision on the way things go right now with cuu.

I do have tunnel vision too but my tunnel is currently filled with fear. The only thing is is that my greed is stronger than my fear.... GLTA

Re: Teck Increases Dividend 12.5% = Less Cash

Another way to see this: Teck shareholders will not be happy with the huge cost of buying CUU; even if the purchase is good for them in the long term, it will lead to a short term drop in their shareprice (buy outs almost always inevitably do). This significant increase in dividend sweetens the pot for shareholders and sends a strong message to them: Teck can afford to make a large purchase while not impacting the financial flexibility of the company. All speculation on my part, of course, but if I held Teck, this news would certainly help me when the shoe drops on the CUU purchase.

In general I have the feeling that everyone on this board is so obsessed with this investment that they think that everything Teck say or does is motivated by CUU. I find this kind of worrying ... Probably I am the only one on this board.

Long in cuu.
