Re: TA... Anyone know anything about PLEs Almirante Miguel property

I believe that "Almirante Miguel Grau" is part of Bolsa del Diablo, the same way "Angolos" also is. In the financial statements, they reported 35k spent last year, and 36k spent in the first 6 months of this year in exploration costs. My take on this is, this is they money they spent for the IP survey, geological survey, maping, sampling etc... In news releases, they are reporting it as Bolsa del Diablo, but in the financial statements, they are reporting it as "Angolos" and "Almirante Miguel Grau" expenditure...

Re: Social Accord

I do not think that it is a negotiated type of accord, in the sense that Plexmar does not have to offer anything to anyone of them.  Plexmar owns the mining rights to these claims, and needs the accord to be allowed to drill.  Convincing people to get on board does not mean that you have to buy every individual vote, it means that you have to show them that their life, as a community, will be better if they allow Plexmar to do the work that needs to be done, and by delivering what was promised.  It seems that Guy has decided to show goodwill and to develop good relations with the communities.  It takes time to achieve this, but in my opinion, it has more chances to succeed in a shorter period of time than, as an example, Monterrico’s strategy that has failed for 5 years, by trying to force their project onto the locals.  And in the meantime, it is giving time to the Peruvian government to show their support and get in the action.

Re: Social Accord Hey Renaissance

People are talking like they know exactly how to solve this issue, I understand that everyone is allowed to their opinion, I also understand that share holders are frustrated by what seems like inactivity, but forgive me if I only trust Guy for being the only one that has all the relevant information concerning Plexmar, therefore the only individual in position to make a strategic decision.  We can discuss different strategy, but it is obvious that we are not aware of all the details, this is Guy’s job...  You are right that money is a great incentive for anybody, but I think that Plexmar should only deal with communities, not individuals, until these individuals become employees.  And I doubt that most of the locals in questions have the means to exercise any options anyway, considering that most of them where walking without shoes only a year ago…
