Golden Hope B-T project

In GNH investor's presentation dated Nov 2016, that you can find here  http://www.goldenhopemines.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/GNH_Presentation_Nov_2016.pdf, on page 13, describing their Bellechasse-Timmins gold deposit, they mention “Under option to Uragold Bay”. That certainly is a toned down affirmation compared to what they were saying about a year ago in a news release “Uragold Bay Resources ("UBR") (TSX-V: UBR) has requested an extension on the option of Golden Hope's 100% owned Bellechasse-Timmins Property, by way of an injunction. The Company considers this claim to be frivolous and without merit”. Also, in the same presentation, on page 6, also about their Bellechasse-Timmins project they point out “Advanced Canadian gold assets targeted and under evaluation for possible near term acquisition”. It was a good idea, a few years ago, to option the B-T project and use the synergies Between UBR-Beauce and GNH B-T to make them more profitable projects, it certainly could be a good idea for Beauce Goldfields to acquire B-T, if a fair deal can be reached between both companies.

Lobbyists register

I searched the Quebec Lobbyists register for HPQ silicon on this website https://www.lobby.gouv.qc.ca/servicespublic/consultation/ConsultationCitoyen.aspx

 and I found out that HPQ registered on Nov 25, 2016 and below is the french text followed by a Google translation:

We are working with Montreal-based PyroGenesis Canada Inc to develop a unique technology, PUREVAPTM QRR (Patent Pending), a technology that transforms low-purity Quartz (SiO2 <99%) into very high-purity silicon metal (99.9999 % Si), basic material for the manufacture of solar panels. With laboratory test results demonstrating that the process is working, we are advancing the project to the next stage of development, which is the validation of the process on an industrial scale. In addition to validating the commerciality of the project, the pilot plant will serve as a test tank to validate that the process should reduce the production of Co2 by 75% in the production of very high purity silicon metal (99.9999% Si) versus traditional processes available on the market. To achieve this, we have mandated PyroGenesis to build a pilot plant of 200 tonnes per year based on our PUREVAP ™ QRR (Patent Pending) technology. Total construction costs are $ 4,950,000 divided as follows: • $ 4,430,000 for the purchase of equipment from the pilot plant, and • $ 520,000 for payment of salaries and direct operating costs of the plant During the warm-up period of the equipment. The construction of the pilot plant, its assembly and its operation will be done in Montreal, in the very premises of PyroGenesis. During the construction phase of the equipment, in addition to the team of 5 PyroGenesis researchers attached to the project, between 5 to 10 factory employees will be created. In a second phase we also contracted PyroGenesis to operate for us factory for 10 months, or until we are certain that the equipment can produce the material, and this for 7 consecutive days by operating 20 hours a day. The costs of this phase over a period of 10 months are $ 2,310,000. During the running-in phase and operations of the plant, in addition to the team of 5 PyroGenesis researchers attached to the project, between 5 to 10 jobs Full time had to be created in the factory. So we are looking for grants or loans of $ 4.0 million under the Creativity Quebec program to finance the construction of the pilot plant. Furthermore, we would like to know if there are programs that could finance us part of the $ 2,310,000 related to the operation of the plant during the running-in period.

HPQ Newsletter

I just received this email from HPQ;

Hi Everyone,

It Works!. What is most important about this press release (see link below) is that we demonstrated that the PUREVAP process succeeded in removing an impressive amount of impurities as we reduced quartz (SiO2) to make Silicon (Si). The amount of Boron (B) that was removed was a total surprise. Boron is notoriously difficult to remove from Silicon Metal. In fact, it was more likely for B it to be concentrated!

Also note, these were blind tests. With these results in hand, Pyrogenesis can now work to improve the PUREVAP process for the next series of tests.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or Bernard.

Regards

Patrick

Re: Since Consolidation

On the date of the consolidation the share price was half a cent pre-consolidation, and 5 cents post-consolidation, before the market opened.
