PRB trading in US today

Hi. Havent posted for a while. Continue to read posts and appreciate everyone's input.

No trading in Canada today. Just checked my scottrade account. Hope I'm not misreading it. But was pleasantly surprised to see that PROBF (US symbol) is at 52 week high. 95 cents on nice US volume of over 102,000 shares. If I am calculating it correctly, this would convert to around Canadian 1.26?

Have no idea on what is the reason behind it, but sure is nice to see.

Good luck to all.

Re: Call management

Havent posted for a while but follow posts regularly. Thanks to all for your contributions. You guys keep me informed and its appreciated.

This is one of the best suggestions I have seen. NYSE may be a stretch, but why not NASDAQ, AMEX or Tortonto. It'd be great to get off the Venture exchange for more stability and to bolster confidence.

Re: What's MacQaurie up to?

MY apologies Darko. It was dated today and I thought it was hot off the press.

Really dont know if it has any significance. But I would much rather have seen PR of them buying more rather than of disposition.

News regarding Macquarie

Hi All, havent posted for a while, but still like Probe a lot, keep up with posts and maintain significant position. Was checking my Scottrade account just now and saw this piece of news which came out about 6 hours ago. Hadnt seen it posted yet so sharing. Looks like Macquarie was selling on 1/14.

TORONTO, Jan. 16, 2013 /CNW/ - Macquarie Group Limited ("Macquarie"), announces that as a result of a recent disposition of common shares of Probe Mines Limited (Probe Mines) on January 14, 2013, Macquarie's deemed beneficial ownership decreased to below 10% on a partially-diluted basis.

Re: Probe Mines Appoints Gordon McCreary to Its Board of Directors and Retains BBA

Haven't posted for a while, but read posts very frequently and try to stay current. I also view this as a positive PR with hopes of it helping share price come back from the tank.

What I noticed about Gordon MaCreary's record with great interest was that he was past president of a royalty mineral company that merged with IAMGOLD. ("he served as President and CEO of Repadre Capital Corp, a mineral royalty company which eventually merged with IAMGOLD Corporation.")

This struck me as particularly interesting for two reasons. The first is that he navigated a company through the M&A process with IAMGOLD. So it appears he has direct experience with M&A and possibly direct connections with IAMGOLD. Of course, IAMGOLD is in process of M&A with Trelauney. If IAMGOLD, or another major ends up having an interest in acquiring PRB at some future point (for fulll, fair value), his experience and connections could potentially be very useful.

Second, as past president of a mining royalty company, you would think his knowledge and connections in the industry would be most helpful to PRB if they decide to monetize an asset, such as their 5% NSR with Agnico.

Just some more thoughts on the matter.

Re: Iggy talked up ROF

I am very disappointed as well. I also have lots of NOT, some FNC. But fortunatley lots of PRB too. At beginning of month we were at or just under $1, but now way back to .84. Appears will have to make some tough decisions soon. Hold on or look for other opportunities. Never thought it would get to this. Downer.
