Re: NO!!

I am adding 305000 shares to the "No" pile.

I will not sell out for this pittance.

Re: what can we do?

I know that the junior sector is in poor shape, that financing is tough everywhere, that potash is not priced well, etc. but this lowball offer is lame... ICL is stealing the projects.

I have emailed Richard and Farhad about my disappointment. And I am not sure yet how to vote my 305000 shares. Wanting to say "no" but, unless a better offer is presented before the deadline, I may just sell and move on. It seems like between China and Ethiopia, someone would come up with a better offer.

I will at least make a small profit. Very sorry for those who will lose money on this.

Re: Uralkali to invest $4.5bn to stay potash No.1

Uralkali is seriously hurting financially from their lost resources, but will expand to maintain market share and intimidate / discourage any greenfield / brownfield projects. There are so many pluses to Allana's Danakil project and the low opex certainly helps.

Uralkali to invest $4.5bn to stay potash No.1

Russia’s Uralkali will invest $4.5 billion over the next five years to raise production capacity by 30 percent, aiming to remain the world’s largest potash company despite a setback at a major mine.

Manitoba bid to start potash mine met with skepticism

Andrew Topf | February 15, 2015

The Canadian province of Manitoba is wading into the potash industry that has proven so lucrative to its neighbour, Saskatchewan.

The Winnipeg Free Press reported on Saturday that the province, through a Crown corporation called Manitoba Potash Corp., is gauging the interest of a number of companies in developing 28,024 hectares of "undeveloped, mineable high-grade potash deposits" adjacent to the Saskatchewan border. A large-scale potash mine could hasten the influx of around $5 billion in capital investment for the prairie province.

However, analysts contacted by the Free Press were not optimistic about the prospects:

"Interest from current players in a project like that is probably pretty remote," said Joel Jackson, a research analyst with BMO Capital Market specializing in fertilizer companies. "The potash industry is quite oversupplied right now and there is massive amounts of new capacity coming on stream in Western Canada and the world, for that matter."

Spencer Churchill, an analyst with Paradigm Capital in Toronto, agreed with Jackson. "The likelihood is pretty small," he said of a Manitoba greenfield.

Re: Speaking of folks who read but never post

My first post on this forum... I have been an Allana shareholder for several years and continue to add to my position as the company progresses towards mine construction, production, and expansion. This is an exciting time for Allana and its shareholders!!

Occasionally, I scan through the sniping and (mostly) detritus on the SH site to glean the few gems and useful information that some of the posters provide. But what a nightmare!

A big THANK YOU to those who share valuable information that affects the outcome of the Ethiopian projects and Allana's success. I truly appreciate the time and energy that you have put into your DD and your willingness to share that with other investors who share your enthusiasm! I will do what I can to contribute in return.

Best wishes... nq
