Been on the sidelines for a over a year....while the junior mkt fights to survive and picked up a few SGR shares yesterday - to lower my average cost. Sill have worries SGR may be a going concern with dwindling cash on hand and declining grade. But suspect / hope the bull run for gold is back on track.

Mangement were issued a wack of options this week (ie. Ian - 750,000 @ $0.20) and a bunch of the $1.25 stock options expired.

Looking for a TSN turning point - higher grade over the next couple qrt's and gold to rebound by the 2nd half of the year.....two big if's for an investor...more like an speculator.

Can you post a summary of Dundee's NR today. I belevie they dropped SGR's target price - from $4 to $3.60? I presume the drop is due to the lower grade?

Uncut opinion is that the prelimanary production #'s are not strong, grade not improving, exploration not encouraging nor are the results impressive.

Not 'very pleased' shareholder

According to to the Stock Option Plan, shareholder approval is required to price options (exercise price) below the last day closing price. Thus, it appears to be an erroneous filing that should be corrected to $3.39- $3.45 (not $2.52).

Appears to be the mutual fund / index funds buying - before SGR hits S&P TSX index on Tuesday. Volume now at 21 mil shs

Romarco Minerals the same - 33 mil shrs.

Just saying, that at present, the game is being played out, various moves between SGR and the Institutional shareholders, and the result is today's action - speculative buying.

Agree that a take-out at these prices is a robbery - if you tender. However, I would continue to particpate in the development of this deposit. Maybe just a change in who calls the shots on paper (officially).

Perhaps a bluff, prior to the AGM.

SGR has laid out its development plan to 2013. I'll have a position and wait to see if these skinny veins lead to the nuggets similiar to G - the pencil.

I beleive Ned was one the initial investors at Kirkland Lake and made a mint.

SGR may be the next district.
