Actually what I read into the memo is that there are certain conditions that must be met prior to the offer taking effect, and one of them is that Spider's Directors and Officers tender their shares to Cliffs and vote against the merger. I don't see them saying that the BOD has actually sided with them.

If I am mistaken, maybe somebody will correct me.

I think more than somebody big is scooping up cheap shares. I was lucky this afternoon to scoop up some at $1.53.

I feel it in my bones that something big is about to happen. But then again, I have had the same feeling since Sept. 2007.

Even though todays volume was 7 times the short position, could it not be they first had to bring the price down before shorts could sell and make a profit?
