I half agree with your decision to sell. The latest numbers are almost meaningless in terms of opening a new mine. Maybe the previous owners sold for a pittance because they could not see any future and decided to get what they could. Nonetheless I haven't sold yet. But if the new drilling dosen't come up with some pretty impressive figures then we will be looking at pennies a share. I certainly don't want to visit 35 cents a share again.

FAU has really had trouble releasng news. Even when its good, it sounds bad.

True. But if FAU pulls some good cores from the new drilling, then all the results from the old drill cores become valid. I would be more worried about a takeover before new results come in. A takeover bid now would be cheap; maybe a buck or a buck and a quarter a share. Should the new drilling produces good results then we are looking a a takeover at four bucks or more. Mind you I would much rather see FAU become a producer on its own. But thats not always their choice, is it?

Well if Fire River doesn't reply to this in the strongest manner possible then one must assume the blog is correct. I don't think that I have ever read anything as nasty as this in all the fifty years I have been playing the Market.

The trouble with FAU is that it is almost too good to be true. But I'm in and intend to stay in while the new drilling is going on. This is what will tell the story.

It is interesting to imagine that one new core will go a long way in validating or invalidating all the old cores. A roll of the dice. What would a good hole do to the stock price?
