Yep, still holding a shipload.

I trust all is well in the land of Torry Pines. Nashville is still rockin' along with Brendt.

Ole Blue

-
A young cowboy from Montana goes off to college.
Half way through the
semester, having foolishly
squandered all his money .... he calls
home.

"Dad," he says, "You won't believe what modern education
is
developing! They actually have a program here in Missoula
that will teach our
dog, Ole' Blue how to talk!"

"That's amazing," his Dad says. "How do I get Ole' Blue
in that
program?"

"Just send him down here with $1,000" the young cowboy says

"and I'll get him in the course."

So, his father sends the dog and $1,000.

About two-thirds of the
way through the semester,
the money again runs out. The boy calls
home.

"So how's Ole' Blue doing son?" his father asks.

"Awesome,
Dad, he's talking up a storm," he says, "but you
just won't believe this --
they've had such good results
they have started to teach the animals how to
read!"

"Read!?" says his father, "No kidding! How do we get Blue
in
that program?"

"Just send $2,500, I'll get him in the class."
The money promptly
arrives. But our hero has a problem.
At the end of the year, his father will
find out the dog
can neither talk, nor read.

So he shoots the
dog.

When he arrives home at the end of the year, his father
is all
excited.

"Where's Ole' Blue? I just can't wait to see him read

something and talk!"

"Dad," the boy says, "I have some grim news.
Yesterday
morning, just before we left to drive home, Ole' Blue was
in
the living room, kicked back in the recliner, reading
the Wall Street
Journal, like he usually does".

"Then Ole' Blue turned to me and asked,
so, is your daddy
still messing around with that little redhead who lives

down the street?"

The father went white and exclaimed, "I hope you
shot
that son of a bitch before he talks to your
Mother!"

"I sure did, Dad!"

"That's my boy!"

The kid went
on to law school, and now serves in
Washington D.C. as a
Congressman

Re: raggie wonders

I beleive once a person becomes labeled an "enemy combatent" they are fair game, armed or unarmed, for military ops. The same is true for dropping a bomb on a house. We have to know what the target is worth.

I'm still bettin' he rode out to sea with a large slab of Tennessee hickory smoked bacon -- Team Six is stationed at Ft. Campbell just north of Nashville. If I had a clue who they were, I would certainly buy them and all their buddies a few cold ones. These guys are really the best of the best.

Re: No trades today? / Paul

Paul,

Good to see you posting here again.

I beleive you are right about the low volume. EDIG is a cult like stock and has been since the good ole days of Jena -- I still have a found spot for her.

I don't even try to keep up any longer, what happens happens. It is tough for me to beleive DM would put so much time and energy into EDIG and not beleive they had the upper hand. The terrific DD from several here has us all in positive wait and see mode, but I certainly believe EDIG will have it's day once again.

The goal has not changed. It is about the money....and I have several hundred thousand reasons to be positive.

Time to go chase a small white ball around a field.

I trust everyone will have a great weekend!

Cheers,

Re: Put American back to work -- One light bulb and one dryer sheet at a time

From a forwarded email:

One Light Bulb at a Time

A physics teacher in high school, once told the students that while one grasshopper on the railroad tracks wouldn't slow a train very much, a billion of them would.. With that thought in mind, read the following, obviously written by a good American ..

Good idea .. . one light bulb at a time . . . .

Check this out . I can verify this because I was in Lowes the other day for some reason and just for the heck of it I was looking at the hose attachments . They were all made in China . The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose
attachments there. They were made in USA . Start looking ..

In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else - even their job . So, after reading this email, I think this lady is on the right track . Let's get behind her!

My grandson likes Hershey's candy . I noticed, though, that it is marked made in Mexico now.. I do not buy it any more.

My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico ... now I have switched to Crest. You have to read the labels on everything ..

This past weekend I was at K roger I needed 60 W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets . I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand I normally buy was an off-brand labeled, "Everyday Value . " I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the stats -
they were the same except for the price .... The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand but the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO and the Everyday Value brand was made in - get ready for this - the USA in
a company in Cleveland , Ohio .

So throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every day that are made right here ..

So on to another aisle - Bounce Dryer Sheets . .. . yep, you guessed it, bounce cost more money and is made in Canada . The Everyday Value brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA ! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using
for years and at almost half the price!

My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for everyday things and see what you can find that is made in the USA - the job you save may be your own or your neighbors!

If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address book so we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time! Stop buying from overseas companies!

(We should have awakened a decade ago .. . .. . . . )
