I believe 100ppb is .1 grams per ton. You would need 1000ppb for 1 gram per ton.
I thought maybe they were alerting us to the fact that they believe now that drilling understates results more dramatically than they previously thought. They knew about this problem in '07 when that statement was made. It is mentioned in '06 press releases.
If it is a product of gold prices, maybe they should state that. I'm hoping this project isn't THAT sensitive to bullion pricing.
Can anyone here help me to reconclie the differences between these two statements, made 3yrs apart?
From the '07 MD&A on Sedar:
Any sample
giving detection limit or less than approximately 250ppb can be considered waste and further treatment,
except under special circumstances, is not warranted.
And from yesterday's news release:
Consequently, for exploration purposes, quartz-bearing
zones that show values greater than approximately 100ppb are considered mineralized
and warrant further attention.
Does this mean that what they considered waste 3yrs ago is now considered mineralized?
Or is this explained by the different sampling methods described?
Any help would be appreciated.
It seems inevitable now that at some point a town/community will spring up around the Eagle's Nest deposit. At least an airport. Why can't we be the ones to chose a name for it? Someone will.
Eagle's Nest Ontario doesn't sound right.
Nemisville?
Nemistown?
Eagleton?
Chrometown?
Suggestions? Something that honors the First Nations?
Sorry if this sounds overly eager, but if we wait until the mine is built it will be too late.
Wish the significance of the name would have struck me before i placed my derby bet.
Perhaps it should have been "Mine Those Birds" but close enough.
Will we get a 50 to 1 payoff too? lol
