Star Navigation Dubai Airshow 2011 Update

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 19, 2011) - Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SNA) ("Star" or the "Company"), is pleased to provide an update on its attendance at the Dubai Airshow 2011.

The Dubai Airshow is a significant bi-annual oppourtunity for the aviation community to meet, showcase their products and services, and build relationships and sales. Throughout the week, the team had the oppourtunity to explain the STAR-ISMS(R) technology to various airlines, and noted strong interest on the part of many pilots, Engineering and Operations department heads, air traffic controllers and MRO companies. Many commented on several features that they felt could positively impact their day to day operations. For instance, several attendees had concerns with the amount of time that it currently took for each separate department in the airline to receive "end of flight" reporting tailored to its specific needs, one of the important problems addressed by the STAR-ISMS(R) technology.

A seven minute video, explaining in detail how this system benefits the airline industry, is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vXWh29uon4&feature=youtu.be. Additional information is also available at www.airbornedataservices.com and www.star-navigation.com.

Re: Star Navigation Announces Details of New Licensing Agreement Regarding....

Viraf Kapadia and Star Navigation have a new license. This was necessary because Viraf is the patent holder 2283188 Ontario Limited and the CEO of Star. This was also necessary because Viraf had to assume liability either personal and/or corporate.

The new license pays him royalties on the product that will be sold by Astrium. The product has been broken into 3 distinct different parts, unit sales 3% of gross revenue, service fees 10% and usage fees 10%.

This license has been granted to Star Navigation exclusively for the life of the patent.

Bright future for Star Navigation

Been a while,

Loving the momentum building up with Astrium and Star. I have a feeling OSC must be practically approved, otherwise I dont think they would put out press release's on Astrium's website let alone spending money for dubai airshow.

Atolp, as for that article I think Viraf must of been anticipating the deal with Astrium to be concluded much earlier than it did, and probably never forecasting going through OSC. Astrium testing and optimizing the entire ADS production in the pilot project im sure we will see stuff soon. I am just as anxious as you are, like you said if Astrium can't do this then no one can, however they have already ran there test markets in 2010 at Berlin airshow, so im sure they know exactly what there doing.

Looking forward to see what comes from dubai airshow and also the AGM in December.
