hey Soly, hydrocarbons are here to stay and Mako is needed. I have no doubt it will be developed in the next few years. I kind of like the politeness of this quote "Unfortunately, or fortunately, neither solar energy nor firewood nor dried manure will be able to replace hydrocarbons in the next 15 to 20 years,"

Congratulations Soly...a bundle of joy has arrived, and no doubt she is a future Falcon Oil investor

my thoughts...XOM delays making a decision, advises the FO board of the delay at the last second, of the last hour, of the last day when it has to decide...FO shareholders pull their hair in manic-depressive fits and announce that they are selling and the die-hards say they are holding....XTO reviews the data and recommends to continue sometime in the early summer......Fo shareholders hit the posting boards and exhault their happiness by announcing that they have been buying all along...first well gets spud in the autum and hopefully the new board prevents MAB from wasting our dollars and do something constructive with the new payment...

Soly,
natural gas is the answer to do away with coal-based electricity generating plants. I fimly think that the need for it will increase because of the environment and because of recovering economies. And we live in strange times...I read the following yesterday "The second leg of Blue Stream will export Russian gas to Israel, Lebanon, Syria and Cyprus via Turkey"...one would have thought that the Middle east had enough gas of their own

Hi Soly, yes the Russians are interested. At the moment Gazprom is looking at taking over or making a significant investment in an unconventional gas north-America company.

I agree, Soly, please continue posting, I find them useful too. And Gumby, you simply ignore the posts.
