Article: Electric vehicle batteries are getting cheaper much faster than we expe

Interesting read. Talks about Tesla and batteries getting less expensive.

"The authors admitted that their data was imperfect due to secrecy surrounding business deals"

" “There are still R&D improvements to be made in, for example, anode and cathode materials, separator stability and thickness, and electrolyte composition,” Nykvist and Nilsson wrote. “Among these factors, input material cost is among the most important, and costs as low as US$300 per kWh due to such improvements have been discussed. Together with improvements due to economies of scale, a 12-14 percent learning rate is conceivable.”"

As long as that anode material doesn't change to aluminum I'm a happy guy..

Re: What is going on????

Yes I am curious as well. Seems super positive and recommendation is to continue as planned. None of the recommendations seem surprising to me.

Low Volume

It seems like volume has been super low these past few days. Does anyone have some insight on why that may be? There was even that article posted yesterday or the day before but we have seen very very small volumes.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Re: It has been 489 days since the news release that the PEA was started

Thank you! That makes sense and I hope you are correct!

It has been 489 days since the news release that the PEA was started

Does anyone know how long it takes normally for a PEA to be completed? When I first bought in I didn't expect it would be delayed a full year. It's so frustrating to not know really what's causing the delays
