My take is we are on hold until fall 2015 or summer 2016. I am not getting any younger, lets get on with it.

I think they will but social acceptability will be uphill all the way.
Here is a link to an interresting results of a study done to know why Québec does not accept fracking. This is in french maybe somebody more capable then myself can provide a translation.
BTW is there fracking in Norway?
