e.Digital enhancing current eVU as result of Sri Lankan order

would have been a better headline for the Mary Kirby article ...

"We are suspending further development of our next generation eVU hardware and instead we are updating [the current] eVU's housing with a dramatically enhanced new look as well as making other hardware improvements," says Falk.

He adds: "Should IFE business conditions improve or we partner outside of portable IFE, we can rapidly complete the next generation upgrade. We are receiving increasing interest in our IFE services and we're working to grow this side of the eVU business to profitability."

Re: NYC article, 7 or 8 feet screens? I let RP know...lol.

Maybe they have an imbedded microvision (MVIS) pico projector built-in.

Anyone else think ...

Anyone else think we might have a re-incarnated LL in our midst?

Remember, he did post as Legal Eagle the previous time he supposedly left the board.

One of my favorite posters from a few years ago came back shortly before LL left, surprisingly (to me) supported him before he left, defends him since he's gone, and has become an irritant just like him - can't help but wonder if LL hasn't hijacked her ID.

MVIS ...eVU?

embedded in a high-end mobile media player for release in late 2010 ... eVU?

http://blogs.barrons.com/techtraderdaily/2010/04/05/microvision-shares-jump-on-85m-order-for-mini-projectors/?mod=yahoobarrons

Microvision (MVIS) shares are up sharply after the company said it received an $8.5 million order for its ultra-miniature PicoP laser projection display engine from “a consumer electronics customer,” which it did not name. The company said the projector will be embedded in a high-end mobile media player for release in late 2010.

The company said this is the first purchase order for the product.

MVIS is up 44 cents, or 14.6%, to $3.46.
