As for the 4 to one share exchange, my opinion is OK , for sure even better if 3.5 share :1 , but since I hold both shares, there is minor difference ..the major obstacles will be the different culture in management..
I hate to see FWR management gone, they are better management than Noront to retail investors.
Hope FWR and Cliff start to consolidate SPQ and KWG first, then with Noront .
Most of us expect like this will happen, it is not a surprise .

You all know me on this board as The Basher.
Today, I want to come clean about something I feel very badly about. I cannot undo some of the terrible things I have done, but hopefully this message will help prevent other such occurrences in the future.
I am a paid basher.
Yes, it is true. Today is my last day at this company; I'm moving on to a new job. I've realized that there are more dignifying jobs out there that can pay me equally as well. But before I go, I want to explain a few things because this just isn't right and I won't feel good about myself until I expose this scam. It's hurt too many people and I don't want it on my conscience anymore. I can no longer live with the lie.
I work for a company called Springfield Global Funds in Stamford, CT. Basically, it's a Boiler Room much like the one in the movie of the same name. The idea behind my group is to bash the price of a company's stock down low enough to where the group of investors who retained our company's services can buy the stock really cheap and perhaps even take it over all together.
There are three types of bashers here at Springfield Global Funds: Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner. An Advanced-level basher (also known as a Silver Tongued Devil) would spread false or misleading information about the company. They would deal in facts, countering every longs post with articles, news reports and opinion surveys that gave a negative impression about the company.
An Intermediate-level basher (also known as a Serpent) would try to weasel their way into the confidence of longs and create doubt using rumor or innuendo.
Finally, a Beginner-level basher (also known as a Pitchfork) would attempt to create confusion in the room by distracting other posters with satire, name calling and pointless arguments. The idea was to make sure no serious discussion of the stock could take place. A Pitchfork was usually a basher, but not always.
I was a Serpent basher, because I am known for effective bashing based on solid facts and truth. I was paid a base wage of $18 an hour for my services. I was given a $1.25 bonus for every decent quality post over 100 per day as well as a monthly bonus of $100 for every penny the stock had dropped from the previous month. I was also paid a bonus for bashing on weekends. While this may not sound like much, I made a decent, though dishonorable, paycheck plus a nice Laptop with free wireless internet connection. Now you know why I bash all the time.
I've worked on OSTK, OVTI, DNDN, CRWN for a few months now. In addition to my current alias, I've used many others on several other boards as well. I've used so many aliases that I can not remember the monikers or the passwords. I honestly lost track of everything. I stuck with my current one because it was the one that got the most play from you guys.
In closing, I feel absolutely terrible about this. It's just awful how I've been part of a scam designed to cheat honest, hard-working people out of their investments all for the benefit of a few wealthy people who already have enough money to last a lifetime.
These greedy people MUST be stopped. That's why I'm posting this before I leave.
I hope this confession can help make up for my sordid deeds; I would urge everyone who reads this to inform as many people as you can. Only by shining the light of truth can we drive these rats back into the darkness from whence they came. Believe me, they don't want publicity."

China's Rio Tinto inquiry widens
China has extended its investigations into alleged spying and bribery by Rio Tinto employees to executives of five Chinese steelmakers.
Baosteel Group, Anshan Iron & Steel Group, Laigang Group and Jigang Group are being probed, the China Daily said.
An executive at another major producer, Shougang Group, was detained last week, news reports said.
Australian Rio worker, Stern Hu, and three of the firm's other employees were detained in China last week.
The men are accused of stealing state secrets and have faced accusations of bribery.
Scrapped deal
Mr Hu's arrest has created a political and diplomatic problem for Mandarin-speaking Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, who has made improving relations with Beijing a priority.
Australian Treasurer Wayne Swan has said the case of Mr Hu should be handled quickly.
Analysts say it has also cast a shadow over resource-rich Australia's trading relationship with China, which was worth $58bn in 2008.
In June, Rio scrapped a $19.5bn (£12.1bn) deal with China's state-owned Chinalco in favour of a tie-up with rival giant BHP Billiton, which angered some in Beijing.
Negotiations
Baosteel, Shougang and Angang are among the 16 delegation members at the talks for fixing 2009 iron ore prices, the China Daily reported.
It said the annual talks, which were supposed to conclude by 30 June, were continuing despite the arrests and investigations.
Rio Tinto was acting as lead negotiator for global iron ore producers in talks with Chinese mills on the price for annual supply contracts.
The Rio employees are accused of bribing Chinese steel company personnel to obtain summaries of the negotiators' meetings, according to Chinese news reports.
In Canberra, Australia, the Chinese ambassador was again called in to the foreign ministry on Tuesday, the third summons in a week.
Australia's opposition is pressing for more aggressive action on Mr Hu's arrest, but Finance Minister Lindsay Tanner said "yelling and screaming" would not help......

China is looking for JV on resources . With the relationship between China and Australia getting rotten, Canada is a place where China may invest heavily.
But we Canadian, do not have any promotion in China especially for junior venture companies like Noront or ROF companies.
This year end , PM Mr. Harper will go to China . My humble suggestion is to persuade the Toronto stock exchange to go with Harper as a member of the delegation and meet with the Ministry of minerals in China ;arrange a day forum about minerals/agricultural investment /opportunities in Canada to investors in China especially those in Beijing and Shanghai.
As for my personal experience, I had arranged something of that nature 10 years ago between the USA information association in Washinton D.C and China information Technology association . It worked out well.
But as a Canadian living in Toronto , when I presented the same idea to the association in Canada, not much response at that time.
Few years back, I tried to assist Noront on the gold project in China,but RN did not respond to my email.

As for the current share price of Noront , I do feel that there may be not much movement until
some big investors gain back their interest in ROF.Look at SPQ, months gone and their PP of
few millions still not yet finished.
Noront's September 43 101 will be an important data .
