I see HTC as a fairly small player. Consider the bigger fish to fry. HTC has had some good products, but they are only 3 or 4% of the 2013 handset market share in the US.

What will HTC eventually pay? It won't just be the $960K. It will have to include plus the other infringement both past and present. Whats more, the global usage is also part of the equation. Not sure how willing they will be to negotiate, but all the below and probably more is on the table for discussion.

HTC wanted to tweak the language. Our side did not. To me seems we were satisfied that the language was deemed by our side to be in our favor. That spins it as a positive to me.

In a criminal case, the defendant must be proven guilty "beyond a reasonable doubt".

What is the deal with no trades? Is there a halt pending news? Hoping this is the big release we have been waiting for.

If we don't see some strong news soon, I will see the BOD as Saboteurs. Sorry to say, but everytime (everytime!!!) we start down a road of strength, something spoils the rally. The common denominator for the last 10 years (other than my stock postion) is the same old BOD.
