I've been gone for over a year or so. It was nice to have a break from checking this site every 10 minutes...

But I'm back in baby! Let the heartbreak begin again!

Well I only had like 20-25% of my portfolio in NOT until it hit .60's or so and then I started ditching all my ETF's and Mutual Funds and started buying NOT.

I didn't have 100% in NOT, but up until recently close to 80%... of course if you look at my post history you can see me buying at 2.50 and around there recently. Greed got the better of me...

I knew you guys would think I was bashing... so predictable... but thanks anyway!

You can even see a few minutes before I posted, I dropped it from 1.82 to 1.78... ha, probably a dubious distinction. Watch for BMO to be near the top of sellers today!

I hope people don't see this as bashing - but thought I'd share anyway.

Last year I think I ran to a low of -50% on my non-RRSP portfolio. I loaded up on NOT way near the bottom. And right now I'm breaking even. Which is pretty freaking good... not pay-off-my-house-and-retire good, but I'm pretty happy regardless.

Up until recently, today in fact, I had a scary amount of money in NOT, but I'm adjusting my expectations and unloading all but a reasonable position this morning. Probably shoulda done that at $2.50 but I'm still thankful I'm not at -50%.

Anyway, still holding some, but getting my expectations in check. Thanks to all the great posters who kept me in the faith for so long.

I can't help but laugh at the hardcore NOT longs (maybe I'm one?) given where we were and where we are.

I imagine the scenario in 5 years, new BoD, new CEO, Eagles have been sold off, NOT is drilling for emeralds in Yemen, and we're all still holding with faith.

I bet there's a clinical diagnosis for what we all have...

You'd think those alerts would be automated.

In my own experience, and in fact with NOT a while back (over a year I'd guess) I made a sell order in my non-RRSP account and a buy in my RRSP account for the same amount of shares at the same price. Immediately BMO called me to see what the heck I was doing to see if I was up to something.

Pretty strange that a small fish triggered an immediate bell but these guys don't...

Does anyone have an estimate based on when the drill may have happened and based on previous drills how long it might take.

i.e. when did we first hear mention of 50 & 51? Must have been 3 weeks ago, no?

I'm not sure why but my gut is next week, they seem to be running 1 release per week, and I think we just got our news for this week.
