Great read

"A group of Yale economics graduates, many of them energy industry executives, led by Yale Professor Emeritus Paul W. MacAvoy, were curious about whether they could quantify the economic benefit that shale gas has on America. So they recently set out to do a cost-benefit analysis, valuing and balancing the pros against the cons. They’ve released their findings in a paper called “The Arithmetic of Shale Gas.”

I’ve parsed all the complicated academic equations so you don’t have to. Their conclusion: the benefits of continued shale gas development are enormous and dramatically outweigh even worst-case scenario costs of pollution and clean-up."

Re: Please do something

Hi all,

I read all you guys posts with big interest here and I've been following this forum for a while. I'm really grateful for all the substantial information you post here! My problem yesterday was the sad and continuing road down for this stock. I've got no problem if the stock sits around 0.90 - 1 CAD until it takes off to higher grounds within one year or something like that. My lowest and latest entrypoint for this stock is around 0.90 something and my average would be something like 1.20 CAD. I know that the company is in a very good shape and is currently VERY undervalued but I would like other investors to know this too so that it would affect the stock price. Thats where the management comes in, to create both short time and long time value and positive effects for its owners. Its a little to silent at the moment, but thats just my personal opinion.

Regards

Please do something

This is madness! I've been holding on to this stock since 2009 but now I'm seriously thinking about abandoning this sinking ship. There is simply no communication about any positive things happening within the company, somewhere they have to realize that there is a need for something for us stockowners to hold on to. The management is not buying themselves, the buyback of stocks seems to have died a long time ago. Have they also lost the hope, creativity and will to make this a success!? I'm trying to reason with myself that the current market situation is one fact but day after day if the market is down 2% this stock goes down atleast 7%!! This just looks more and more as a sad story for any investor.
